Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire urban Atlanta students to lead and succeed by connecting them with executives, professionals and mentors eager to share personal stories of success and overcoming adversity. Grady Talks implements its mission by:

• Bringing inspiring adults into the classroom
• Encouraging students to find and follow their dreams and passions
• Reinforcing the importance of staying in school past the age of 16
• Guiding students in defining and realizing their own success
• Posting videos of our presenters online so that our speakers’ words can reach beyond the walls of Grady High and positively impact students everywhere

Grady Talks hopes to expand to other Atlanta schools in the near future. Our goal is to provide every student attending urban Atlanta high schools the opportunity to be inspired by our presenters.
